As a Quality Test Engineer on the team, you will support the Detect Application group within our Robotics division. You will work as part of an engineering team to design, develop, integrate, and test software features on embedded electronic controls for use in safety detect machine applications.

Our mission is to deliver the highest quality DETECT safety technology products and solutions to our clients and customers on time and within budget.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:                 

·         Detect feature development in embedded C++, Linux, GitHub

·         Issue resolution through triage and troubleshooting

·         Agile Sprint environment

·         Validation plan development

·         Coordination with a global team of machine, systems, software, and validation teams

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required and 7 years of relevant experience is required OR

·         Master’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·         Well versed in automated test design.

·         Well versed in Python software scripting for automated testing.

·         Capable of proposing solutions when features fail their test criteria

·         Understand system-level feature design documentation to write test plans

·         Capable of using datalink test equipment

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

·         Ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse work group.
