  • Perform rapid patient assessments and triage based on severity of illness or injury
  • Monitor vital signs and recognize life-threatening conditions
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments
  • Assist with emergency procedures such as intubation, resuscitation, and wound care
  • Provide trauma care and stabilize critically ill patients
