FL - Emergency Medicine Opportunity Lake Okeechobee Area - $330K

Join a hospital in the Lake Okeechobee area as an Emergency Medicine Physician. Provide high-quality care in a collaborative environment while earning competitive pay at $330K as a 1099 contractor.

Compensation Highlights:

$330K for MD/DO permanent providers

Malpractice and tail insurance provided

Duties and Requirements:

Deliver emergency care at a small facility in South Florida with an annual volume of 16,000 patient visits.

Manage 12-hour shifts (7a 7p and 7p 7a) with flexible full-time or part-time options.

Collaborate with APPs working 11a 8p shifts for seamless patient transitions.

Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.

Education: MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with ED experience.

Licensure: Eligible for a Florida Medical License.

Qualifications (Minimum and Preferred):

• Years of Experience: 2 years recent Emergency Medicine experience
• Specialized Experience: Proficiency with Epower Doc EMR is beneficial.
• Education: Board-certified/board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with ED experience.
• Licenses: Florida Medical License or eligibility.
• Certifications:
  • MD/DO: ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS (All Required).
  • APP: ACLS, BLS, PALS (Required; ATLS preferred).
• Personality Factors: Patient-focused, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
