Position: Emergency Room Technician Location: Emergency Room at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky Schedule: Full time position with varied shifts Responsibilities Documents and maintains accurate records. Communicates pertinent information regarding patient\'s progress and needs to appropriate hospital staff, including vital signs, pain level and comfort needs. Participates in required education, competencies, and annual training. Communicates effectively with patients, families, providers, and other team members. Follows HIPAA compliance. Responds to emergent situations, demonstrates strong skills, and responds appropriately. Verifies availability of emergency supplies (i.e., location of crash cart, oxygen tank, suction set-up). Accurately performs ER Tech procedures, operates, maintains and troubleshoots equipment in the assigned area.
