VIA is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Onboarding Specialist to develop and execute a world-class onboarding experience for all new VIAneers. As VIA’s team continues to grow rapidly, you will play a pivotal role in guiding new VIAneers through a seamless new hire journey that sets clear expectations for success, provides confidence navigating VIA’s processes, creates a strong alignment with VIA’s culture and values, and fosters a sense of belonging. 

Individuals who will excel in this role understand the value of powerful first impressions. They are motivated by creating inclusive, welcoming environments and are passionate about ensuring every new VIAneer feels supported, valued, and prepared to thrive.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a world-class onboarding experience. Key responsibilities include: 
    • Own the high-quality, end-to-end delivery of all onboarding processes and logistics
    • Ensure every new VIAneer feels welcomed, supported, and fully prepared to dive into their role
    • Collaborate with key VIA stakeholders throughout the onboarding process as needed, to provide the seamless completion of onboarding activities, tool and system access, and resource support
    • Be the go-to person for addressing VIAneer questions and concerns, and coordinate regular check-ins to ensure a smooth and supportive onboarding experience
  • Embody VIA’s values and culture in all interactions, including: 
    • Create a sense of belonging for new VIAneers by cultivating a strong connection to VIA’s values 
    • Act as a liaison to connect new VIAneers to key stakeholders during their onboarding journey like mentors, peer groups, and important day-to-day contacts
    • Set clear expectation for success at VIA so they become valued, dedicated, and committed team members 
  • Drive the thoughtful expansion of VIA’s onboarding program by identifying process improvement opportunities 
    • Continuously design and refine the VIA onboarding program as needed by collaborating with multiple stakeholders, gathering feedback, and ensuring our program remains fresh, relevant, and impactful
    • Assist in the design and development of company-wide training programs that support VIAneers learning and development initiatives

Requirements

What you will bring to this role: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred
  • 2–5 years of experience in an onboarding, HR, talent acquisition, or an employee experience focused role
  • Previous experience in designing, managing, and executing onboarding programs for new hires
  • Motivation to help shape the journey of new employees in a fast-growing value-driven company
  • A passion for effective communication and the strategic organization of information to drive clarity, engagement, and decision-making
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
