Employee Onboarding Specialist Apply
Mize CPAs Inc. was recently named a Top 200 Workplace for 2024 by USA Today! We are a leading regional accounting and IT firm with offices in Topeka and Overland Park, Kansas. Our firm works with clients in a number of industries and has a rapidly growing restaurant and hospitality division that serves clients nationwide.
We are looking for an in-person only Employee Onboarding Specialist in the Topeka office. Full-time availability is needed, 40 hours per week. After initial training of approximately 6 - 9 months, a hybrid-remote work schedule can be discussed.
If you are the right person for this opportunity, you will have experience assisting customers with technical problems, including resolving customer queries, recommending solutions, and guiding product user through features and functionalities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email, or chat
- Set up and maintain onboarding database for clients assigned
- Assist clients with updating and maintaining employee onboarding experience
- Identify customer needs and help customers use specific features of the onboarding database
- Stay up to date with state employment practices requirements
- Analyze and report product malfunctions (for example, by testing different scenarios or impersonating users)
- Process and maintain E-Verify database
- Work with client staff to resolve E-Verify case discrepancies
- Answer questions from clients, client staff, and internal staff regarding matters related to complex I-9, E-Verify, and onboarding questions
- Research onboarding requirements for each client and update database for required reporting
- Update our internal databases with information about technical issues and useful discussions with customers
- Share feature requests and effective workarounds with team members
- Inform customers about new features and functionalities
- Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved
- Gather customer feedback and share with our technical teams
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- In-office work during training, due to the interaction necessary with trainer; amount of time required will vary based on the individual's experience and abilities
- Individuals at this level normally have a High School Diploma
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think critically, be organized and dependable
- Tech savvy with ability to type at least 45 wpm
- Strong MS Office skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of human resource service offerings
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
