Employment Litigation Associate Attorney Direct Counsel is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join a prestigious Am Law firm in Seattle, Washington.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney with 3-6 years of employment litigation experience to join a highly regarded Employment Litigation practice. The role offers significant client contact and hands-on litigation experience representing employers in complex employment disputes, class actions, and workplace investigations.
Responsibilities Represent employers in single-plaintiff employment litigation, systemic discrimination cases, and wage and hour class actions.
Handle pre-litigation matters, including responding to administrative charges and agency investigations.
Conduct internal workplace investigations and provide day-to-day employment counseling to clients.
Manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Take and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and participate in discovery.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive litigation filings.
Appear in court for hearings, argue motions, and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
Work directly with corporate clients while collaborating with a team of experienced employment litigators.
Qualifications J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active membership in the Washington State Bar.
3-6 years of employment litigation experience, with at least 2 years of litigation experience required.
Experience handling employment disputes, workplace investigations, or class actions is preferred.
Excellent legal research, drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills.
Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong academic credentials.
Highly motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously.
Compensation & Benefits Salary: $260,000-$390,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
