Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Employment Specialist, located in Oneonta, NY. The Employment Specialist will be responsible for facilitating the recruitment and onboarding process, conducting interviews, and providing training to new employees. Additionally, the role involves working directly with clients or candidates to offer customer service, support retention strategies, and ensure a smooth employment transition. The Employment Specialist will collaborate with teams to meet staffing needs and help create an inclusive work environment. Qualifications Strong Communication and Interviewing skills for effective candidate assessments and interpersonal interactions. Experience in Customer Service and Training to ensure high-quality onboarding and continuous professional development. Recruiting skills to identify, attract, and onboard top talent effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a proactive and results-oriented approach. Knowledge of employment practices, employee development, and labor laws is a plus. Proficiency in using recruitment software and related tools is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
