Endoscopy Rn Apply
Position: Endoscopy RN
Location: Burien, WA
Pay scale: Weekly $2911
Shift: Day 10*4
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Prepare patients for procedures by assessing health status, explaining the procedure, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assist the physician during endoscopic procedures by handling equipment, monitoring the patient's condition, and ensuring proper specimen collection.
- Administer sedatives, pain relief, and other medications as prescribed and manage patient response.
- Provide post-procedure care, including monitoring recovery, addressing complications, and educating patients on aftercare instructions.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Experience in endoscopy or a similar specialized nursing role.
- Proficiency in assisting with endoscopic procedures and handling endoscopic equipment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
