Job Title: Engagement Manager.Location: UK - London BasedBusiness: Global Life Sciences Strategy Small-Mid sized Firm.I am seeking an Engagement Manager to lead Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) projects for private equity and growth investors across biopharma, medtech, diagnostics, and health services.You will own fast-paced, high-stakes projects from scope to Investment Committee readout, working directly with senior investors and internal Partners.This is a leadership role for someone who thrives under pressure, thinks commercially, and can translate complex scientific and market data into clear investment decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end buy-side and sell-side CDDs (2–6 week cycles)Own project structuring, hypotheses, and workplansManage and mentor case teams (2–5 consultants)Drive primary research (KOLs, customers, payers)Pressure-test market sizing, growth assumptions, and risk scenariosSynthesize insights into clear, investment-ready recommendationsAct as primary day-to-day contact for PE clientsSupport Partners in IC readouts and deal decisioningIdeal Background5–8+ years experience in Strategy Consulting1+ years as a Engagement Manager Strong exposure to Commercial Due DiligenceLife sciences focus (pharma, biotech, medtech, healthcare services)Experience leading multiple PE-backed CDDs end-to-endComfortable operating in ambiguous, time-compressed environmentsWhat We’re Looking ForProven CDD leadership, not just supportStrong commercial instincts and hypothesis-driven thinkingConfident communicator with investors and senior stakeholdersCalm, decisive, and resilient under pressureExperience translating science into commercial insightLanguages: English essential; Turkish and German highly desirableNice to HavePhD / MD / PharmD / MSc in life sciencesExperience across both buy-side and sell-side DDWhy JoinHigh deal exposure with top-tier PE clientsAccelerated responsibility and progressionClear path to Partner / DirectorStrong exit opportunities (PE ops, corp dev, VC)
