In this brand-new role our Engagement Manager for Business Development will be responsible for driving growth in the Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Methods and Tools sectors in France.Area of ResponsibilityPresent Cluster Growth (Manufacturing Engineering and Engineering Methods and Tools):Collaborate with the sales team to demonstrate Tata capabilities and build relationships with mission sponsors.Create and present customer organization maps to develop focused target strategies for future engagement.Develop proposals aligned with customer expectations to maximize win chances.Identify and mine opportunities within current missions and explore new areas for engagement.Winning New Clusters and Customer Base Expansion:Work with the sales team to showcase Tata capabilities at forums, leading to selection for future tenders.Lead call for tenders for various business opportunities, ensuring high-quality responses and strong customer relationships.Engage in prospection discussions with aerospace OEMs and suppliers to identify and secure future business.Operational Excellence:Mission Level:Ensure successful mission wins, coaching, and handover to mission leads, supporting smooth operational transitions.Identify and onboard the right teams for each mission.Conduct periodic team touchpoints for upskilling and cross-skilling.Facilitate proactive risk identification and mitigation through regular touchpoints with mission leads and requestors.Cluster Level:Manage cluster metrics, including revenue tracking and project-level reporting.Collaborate with Tier 2 suppliers for revenue reporting and identifying customer risks and opportunities.Represent Tata in Contractual Review Meetings, showcasing team performance and future expansion opportunities.Address customer escalations and implement plans to mitigate risks while securing future relationships.Team Building:Foster continuous development and coaching of future business leaders through experience sharing and problem-solving.Track team health, sentiment, and knowledge gaps, implementing proactive measures to address deviations.Identify staffing needs, create profiles, and onboard talent to ensure successful business delivery.Tata Executive Management Level:Support the development of data points, customer milestones, and key events to illustrate engagement health and growth strategies.Provide periodic updates on cluster performance and future growth strategies.Innovation:Lead initiatives aimed at improving team performance, quality assurance, and mission efficiency.Identify and secure innovative technological initiatives that could drive future business.Establish best practices and effective working methods to foster a positive work environment.Qualifications and expectationsBachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.Proven experience in aerospace project management, with a track record of successful project deliveries.Working 'into client' providing solutions across manufacturingFluent in both French and EnglishProven experience in business development, particularly within the aerospace sector.Strong leadership and team-building skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.Familiarity with operational excellence methodologies and customer relationship management.Strong understanding of aerospace industry standards, regulations, safety and best practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Please apply now for further information.If you are passionate about bringing innovation to the projects you work on and want to join a global company, then this is the place for you.Tata Technologies: Engineering a better world.
