Description We are seeking a reliable and proactive Engineer to join our team. This hands‑on role is essential in maintaining the quality and functionality of our vacation rental properties by executing necessary repairs and preventative maintenance tasks. This includes mechanical, electrical, appliance, painting and other general maintenance duties. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our guests and owners. DUTIES As an Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties: Ensure daily operational and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, thoroughly, and on schedule. Conduct check‑out maintenance inspections to identify and resolve any issues before the next guest arrival. Collaborate closely with the Housekeeping and Guest Experience teams to meet guest needs and maintain high service standards. Support all departments and staff, stepping in to assist with various duties as needed. Perform guest‑facing tasks with a focus on friendliness and professionalism to help foster strong relationships with both guests and homeowners. Take part in ongoing projects aimed at property improvement, preventative maintenance, and enhancing guest satisfaction. Complete housekeeping‑related tasks as required to support team efficiency. Communicate with Housekeepers and Houseman to ensure all guest and owner needs are met. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring your workspace is tidy at the end of each task and shift. Requirements SKILLS & COMPETENCIES The following skills & competencies will be required as an Engineer: Prior experience in property maintenance, hospitality, or a similar role preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or on‑call shifts. Physically capable of handling maintenance duties, including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for long periods. Positive attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork. Problem‑solving skills. Become an expert on our properties, inside and out. Understand our standard inventory and inventory system. Ability to utilize MRR App software on a compatible phone. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 100lbs. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to kneel, bend and crawl. Able to squat and crouch.
