Located just 30 minutes from Mankato, we offer a collaborative environment where innovation meets reliability in designing and producing high-quality generator sets.

As Engineering Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in our growth, reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating with executive leadership (including the President, CFO, and COO) on strategic initiatives. This position is ideal for a seasoned engineer with strong leadership skills who thrives in a hands-on, team-oriented setting. Duties / Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Design Engineering team by recruiting, training, mentoring, and retaining top talent, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Manage resource allocation for engineering projects, including Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), design initiatives, and production support, ensuring timely completion to quality standards.
  • Oversee project management for new product development, from concept to release, including tracking timelines, budgets, and milestones; facilitate weekly cross-functional meetings with sales, operations, service, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure product compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as UL, ISO, NFPA, EPA, CARB, and internal guidelines, through audits, testing, and documentation.
  • Contribute to business strategy execution as part of the management team, focusing on cost containment, product expansion, organizational productivity, and overall profitability.
  • Provide technical support for production troubleshooting, field issues, and customer inquiries to maintain high standards of quality and satisfaction
