Engineer Operations Program 1 (Integration Tool Engineer / Project Management) Location: El Segundo, CA | Duration: 7 months | Pay Rate: up to $67.98/hr | Start Date: Immediately Must obtain a Secret Clearance. Responsibilities Acquaint yourself with all engineering and technical aspects of tools used to manufacture aircraft components. Coordinate with technical leadership and a cross‑functional Integrated Program Team (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule, and technical objectives. Develop and deliver presentations to customers, management, and other program stakeholders. Define, plan, perform, monitor, control, and complete a variety of project tasks simultaneously. Perform Control Account Management (CAM) duties: track budget actuals, review financial performance against the full EV performance management baseline, participate in CAM status calls, prepare status for or attend weekly status meetings, provide or enter weekly Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) status, support stakeholder meetings, review Actuals Hours reports for time charging accuracy and alignment with IMS status. Coordinate with the scheduling team to develop and execute an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Coordinate change requests with the Business Management and Scheduling team as needed. Work to targeted cost, schedule, and staffing requirements. Support logistics team by generating staffing requirements, documentation, and forecasts. Facilitate internal meetings to support staffing, ensuring the staffing needs meet the staffing baseline. Perform schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks. Perform full project monitoring, including requirements traceability, SOW shredding, facilitation of team meetings, tracking and closing action items, and presentation creation for all levels of leadership. Manage multiple projects, working directly with Tool Design Engineering and in‑house and off‑site fabrication. Update Earned Value Management (EVM) tools and produce required data products, review monthly Earned Value (EV) data, provide cost account status, and support program requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math). U.S. citizenship. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint. Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate with multiple levels of the organization.
