Our client, a leader in electrical manufacturing , is hiring an Engineer to join their team in St. George, UT ! This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits As the Engineer , you will support the development, programming, and commissioning of Building Management System (BMS) applications for large-scale facility and campus environments . You will develop automation solutions, program PLC systems, design SCADA interfaces, and ensure building infrastructure systems operate efficiently and reliably . Responsibilities Develop control programs for BMS systems using function block programming, scripting, and graphical interfaces Design and implement user-friendly SCADA/HMI interfaces for facility monitoring and control Perform on-site startup, system checkout, commissioning , and troubleshooting of automation equipment Validate field devices, controllers, and instrumentation through point-to-point testing Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure successful system commissioning Perform QA/QC checks on PLC and SCADA code before delivery to customers Develop simulation software to test and validate automation programs prior to deployment Desired Skills Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field Strong experience with Rockwell PLCs and Studio 5000 Experience developing and maintaining Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA projects Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting automation systems on-site Understanding of HVAC systems and building automation environments OSHA 10 certification preferred due to high-voltage work environments Motion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
