Overview Metro Engineering Solutions is looking for an Engineering Co-Op to join our team. MES is a multifaceted utility and telecommunications engineering firm serving clients throughout the Midwest. The Engineering Co-Op is responsible for working effectively in a variety of computer systems and software applications while providing internal and power utility clients with utility design services and solutions needed to accurately construct OH/UG power distribution systems. Responsibilities Assist with utility design services and solutions for OH/UG power distribution systems. Work effectively in a variety of computer systems and software applications used by MES. Support internal teams and power utility clients in project execution and documentation. Qualifications Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program related to Electrical or Civil Engineering. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar design/drafting software. Basic programming knowledge (C/C++, Python, or similar). Good written and verbal communication. Ability to work in a team and follow instructions. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
