Needs to be local to Lake Forrest, CA

We have an immediate engineering need with below minimum requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

1. On-site at Lake Forest, California, facility.

2. Immediate availability.

3. Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering or higher

4. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

5. 12+ Years of Relevant Experience

6. Microcontroller/microprocessor-based circuit design.

7. Board-level digital circuit design (for example: memory, I2C/SPI devices, ADC/DAC, etc.).

8. Board-level analog circuit design (for example: sensor conditioning, op amps, filters, linear and switching power supplies, motor drive circuits, etc.).

9. Wired communication interfaces (for example: Ethernet, CAN bus, MIPI, USB, etc.).

10. Extensive knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, transmission line theory, and other PCBA layout-related issues.

11. Design-for-EMC; Design-for-Safety; Design-for-Reliability.

Pluses:

1. Deep understanding of wireless communication interfaces starting at physical layer and up to product level (including Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Bluetooth, and RFID).

2. Medical device development under 21 CFR Part 820.

3. CPLD/FPGA/ASIC development using Verilog or VHDL.

4. PCBA layout using Allegro, Altium, or other tools.
