Job Description: Title: Forklift Engineer (Beeline title: Building Engineer)
Job Family: Engineering/Maintenance
Background Package: CBRE SAFETY SPECIFIC PACKAGE - WITH DRUG TEST -
Bill Rate: $40-$45
Hours: M-F 8-5pm
Remote/Hybrid/In-Person: In-Person
Location: 2701 Powering Progress Dr
Kernersville, NC
Assignment Duration: 4 Months with the potential to extend
Potential to convert to FTE, If so, what rate: Yes, no rate to share
Resource's typical working day: This role is an extremely reactive position where you will support the company's needs in the day to day requirements of service, maintenance and repair of material handling equipment
Responsibilities of the forklift engineer include:
Service and repair MHE equipment on-site and at customer locations
Handle administrative tasks
Maintain strong customer relationships
Quickly and effectively diagnose faults on equipment to ensure minimal downtime for your client
Providing solutions to queries from customers on site, liaising with the hire desk where required
Follow safety and housekeeping standards in your area of work both in our workshop and at customer sites
Representing the company in a professional and knowledgeable way
Additionally they may be responsible for:
Utilizes advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment and grounds.
Working under limited supervision, monitors building system operations and performance. Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.
Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety. Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors.
Contracted work includes landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbers, and cleaning. Performs assigned repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required. Reviews assigned work orders.

Years of Experience needed: 4+ Years of experience
Level of Education: H.S Diploma or Equivalent
Top Nice to have Skills: Universal CFC certification is Preferred
Universal EPA license is Preferred
Additional certification in one or more of the following: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair is preferred
Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Interview Process: 2 Rounds of interviews
