Make sure employees follow proper protocol with respect to maintenance, SOPs, GMPs and Safety Policies.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Establish weekly schedule for both production and trucks based on Wish List sent by scheduling department.Make sure maintenance program is followed including Master Schedule, down time forms and work orders.Schedule personnel based on production needs and keeping to standard.Work with outside contractors making sure they follow proper procedures and maintain equipment.Ensure product quality is up to standard through equipment maintenance and employee training.Follow through on all capital projects. Make sure capital projects are on or under budget.Work with contractors to make sure all capital projects follow original request. Communicate with Plant Manager if any deviation from original capital request.Research pricing for parts.COMPETENCIES: To perform this job successfully, the Manufacturing Manager Plant Engineer must be self-motivated, able to problem solve, detail-oriented, and able to stay on task.
