Primary Duties and AccountabilitiesThe Manager of Project Engineering is responsible for leading large-scale capital projects, including initiatives focused on plant reliability, power uprates, and plant improvement modifications. Key responsibilities include:Capital Project Management: Manage all aspects of CapEx, including design, roadmaps, expenses, vendor and contractor management, etc.Engineering Governance: Provide strategic management, oversight, and governance of engineering activities in alignment with regulatory requirements and the operational needs of the nuclear fleet.Team Leadership: Manage and develop assigned engineering personnel to meet corporate objectives, emphasizing the delivery of high-quality engineering outcomes.Business Planning: Serve as a key participant in engineering business planning, budgeting, and performance review processes.Workforce Management: Fulfill full managerial responsibilities for assigned staff, including recruitment, development, compensation, and performance evaluations. Ensure consistent and effective workforce practices.Technical Leadership: Provide engineering and technical leadership—both directly and through subordinates—for short-term and long-term programs impacting fleet operations.Fleet-Wide Initiatives: Act as a senior contributor to nuclear-wide programs and initiatives aimed at standardizing and improving engineering systems and processes.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineeringExperience: Minimum of 10 years total experience, including:5 years years in a chemical plant environment5 years in capital project management5 years of supervisory or managerial experience
