Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior level Solutions Architect with 8+ years of experience to join our team. As an Engineering Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-based application architectures. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and clients to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure successful implementation. This is a hybrid role, with two days working from our Downtown Phoenix office.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with multiple Software Engineering teams to understand their business goals and technical requirements.
  • Design and develop cost-effective Azure Cloud solutions to meet business needs.
  • Create architectural documents and technical specifications, including diagrams (e.g., Component, Sequence, Class, Use Case, Network views).
  • Document non-functional requirements to ensure system security, performance, manageability, quality, and consistency.
  • Conduct research and provide technical guidance to development teams while proactively sharing knowledge within the organization.
  • Recommend tools, technologies, and processes to maintain the highest quality product standards.
  • Stay current with the latest Azure services, features, and best practices.

Requirements

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Over 8 years of experience in designing and implementing .NET cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
  • Proficient in designing scalable, distributed, and highly available applications.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and data protection.
  • Familiar with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), microservices, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
