• 1st Shift — Monday–Thursday, 5AM - 2:30PM, Fridays 5AM-9AM 
• $22ph - $24ph (based on experience)

We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Lab Technician to support our clients Engineering department on a temporary basis. This individual will work closely with Model Makers, Lab Technicians, and Engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role involves the installation, testing, monitoring, repair, and modification of  machines and test fixtures, along with performing basic laboratory and performance testing.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, and supporting engineering projects.

• Install, monitor, repair, modify, and disassemble machines and test fixtures

• Perform basic testing, including machine performance testing, salt spray testing, and video recording of tests

• Assist Engineers, Model Makers, and Lab Technicians with daily support tasks

• Accurately document test results and observations

• Use basic hand tools, brazing equipment, basic wiring techniques, and troubleshooting methods safely and effectively

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members

• Hands-on mechanical or technical experience preferred

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook 

• Strong attention to detail

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Knowledge of and ability to safely use:

  • Basic hand tools

  • Brazing equipment

  • Basic wiring

  • Basic troubleshooting techniques
    

• EPA 608 Refrigerant Recovery License is a plus (not required)
