Overview Title: Engineering Tech I Location: Provo, & American Fork, Utah (Must be willing to travel back and forth to both facilities) Shift: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday - Friday Compensaiton: $27.00 - $33.00 an hour Summary: The Engineering Technician I supports daily production line operations by executing basic technical tasks, data collection, and equipment support activities. This role focuses on learning systems, standard work, and foundational troubleshooting under the guidance of a Manufacturing Engineer. Responsibilities Assist with line Start-up, changeovers, and shutdown activities Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical and process issues using standard work Collect and record process data (throughput, downtime, yield, scrap) Support preventive maintenance (PM) execution alongside Maintenance Execute sanitation readiness checks (pre/post washdown equipment verification) Assist with root cause investigations by gathering data and observations Maintain line documentation and visual controls Identify, address, and escalate abnormalities (Safety, Quality, Equipment Performance) Required Skills And Qualifications High school diploma or technical certificate Basic mechanical aptitude Familiarity with hand tools and basic instrumentation Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Computer literacy Ability to read SOPs and follow structured processes Preferred Skills Exposure to food manufacturing or CPG environments Basic understanding of GMPs and food Safety Principles Key Performance Indicators Safety and compliance adherence Response time to line issues Data accuracy and completeness #J-18808-Ljbffr
