Position Summary The engineering technician will work under the direction of management and/or engineering staff as determined by senior management. This role will work on a variety of engineering tasks, such as prototype testing, equipment trouble shooting, data collection, data processing, tooling fixtures, etc., depending on skills and experience. Essental Responsibilities Recognize any unsafe conditions and take action to correct while reporting to supervisor, lead, or other management representative immediately Use precision measuring instruments Design and build manufacturing equipment Performs other duties as assigned Ideal Experience The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and able to demonstrate solid experience with the following: Mechanical Engineering Design/Build Equipment Competencies Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work with cross functional teams Diagnostic Information gathering Statistical analysis Qualifications High school diploma and 2 or more years’ experience as a technician in MIM industry or equivalent experience as determined by management An associate’s degree or similar certificate in a complimentary trade preferred Knowledge of various machinery, tools, materials and equipment necessary to perform job duties Possess excellent computer/PC skills (including word & excel knowledge) Acute attention to detail Commitment to excellence and high standards Work effectively as a team member and independently Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm Detail oriented in regard to workmanship & maintaining the efficiency #J-18808-Ljbffr
