Job Title: Engineering Technician

Duration: Duration: 12 Month - option to extend for many years

Location: Front Royal, VA 22630

Job description:

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and identify process improvement opportunities through incident investigations, root cause analysis, and industry best practices
• Support fleet-wide compliance efforts and maintenance standards
• Assist the Station Engineer with capital projects, CBM (Condition-Based Maintenance)/PdM (Predictive Maintenance) programs, and station evaluations
• Support station maintenance activities
• Contribute to various station programs, including R-Stamp, ASR/GADS, and vibration analysis
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of engineering theories and principles
• Understanding of advanced techniques and the application or extension of engineering theories and practices
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing
• Strong computer proficiency
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to understand and apply ASME codes, regulations, and practices
• Ability to read and interpret station drawings
• Proficiency in computer applications, including the ability to perform engineering calculations using software such as Excel
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
• Strong decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and process information efficiently
• Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical principles, with an understanding of CBM and rotating equipment
• Experience with SAP
