Engineering Technician Apply
Overview As an Engineering Technician at our Monument, CO facility, you will support the engineering team through hands-on technical work that contributes directly to product design, development, testing, and quality. You will operate precision equipment, interpret engineering drawings, assist in troubleshooting, and maintain accurate technical documentation. Your work will improve engineering efficiency, enhance product quality, and ensure reliable, high-performance manufacturing processes. Location: On-site at our Monument, CO facility. What Will You Do? Operate and maintain CNC machinery to produce precision components according to specifications. Use AutoCAD or similar engineering software to create, modify, and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Perform quality control inspections using appropriate measuring devices and instruments. Assist engineers with design, testing, troubleshooting, and engineering builds for new and existing products. Prepare clear, organized technical reports summarizing testing, findings, and project updates. Support cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Production, and other teams. Perform routine calibration and maintenance of mechanical tools and equipment. Collect and analyze data using basic statistical methods to support engineering decisions. Participate in process improvement activities and troubleshooting sessions. Provide occasional guidance to junior technicians as skills and experience develop. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted. Experience operating and setting up CNC machinery required. Experience with AutoCAD or comparable drafting software required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Strong practical understanding of measuring devices and inspection instruments. Familiarity with mechanical tools and safe operating practices. Basic understanding of engineering principles related to product design and testing. Experience with quality control processes and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create technical reports. Ability to apply basic statistics for data analysis. Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn new technical skills.
