As an Engineering Technician, you will provide essential support to the engineering team through modeling, studies, and other directed tasks. You will be a vital part of the team, contributing to the success of engineering projects.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot basic engineering issues.
  • Conduct engineering studies as directed.
  • Modify and enhance part models using SolidWorks.
  • Construct simple machine models using SolidWorks.
  • Create and manipulate facility layouts using SolidWorks.
  • Recognize and leverage your capabilities to continually improve.
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in CAD Design using SolidWorks.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing concepts.
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
  • Capability to grasp modern technology quickly.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in engineering studies.
  • Mechanical aptitude in foundry and machine shop environments.
  • Technical degree from an accredited technical college.
Work Environment

The role requires frequent standing, intermittent walking, bending, sitting, and lifting of parts, which may exceed 50 lbs at times. You will work in an environment where collaboration and individual initiative are equally valued.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Racine, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
