Engineering Technician Pay: $20.00+/hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Location: Sand Springs, OK 74063 (West Tulsa area) Shift: 1st Shift Position Overview We are seeking a hands‑on Engineering Technician to support engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams within a growing aerospace manufacturing and repair organization. The Engineering Technician role does not require an engineering degree> and is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals looking to grow into an engineering support role over time. This position involves evaluating physical components, assisting with reverse engineering activities, and creating accurate technical documentation in a regulated aerospace environment. Key Responsibilities Support engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams with technical documentation Assist with reverse engineering of parts and assemblies under engineering guidance Perform hands‑on inspection, measurement, and evaluation of components Document parts, assemblies, measurements, and processes using controlled procedures Work closely with production and quality teams to convert physical hardware into technical data Split time between the shop floor and office environment Required Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on problem‑solving skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (documentation, tracking, basic data analysis) Ability to follow structured procedures and accurately document work Comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing or repair environment Preferred (Not Required) Exposure to SolidWorks or other CAD software Experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, MRO, or skilled trades Familiarity with mechanical assemblies, inspection, or repair processes Ideal Candidate Traits Curious, hands‑on mindset with a desire to learn how things work Strong written communication skills Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently Comfortable working cross‑functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams This Engineering Technician role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their technical skills and build a long‑term career in aerospace manufacturing and engineering support.
