Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Technician Job Description As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure product quality. You will perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Responsibilities Optimize manufacturing processes to ensure high product quality. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment. Improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions. Conduct tests and experiments to validate and verify manufacturing processes. Train production staff on new processes and equipment. Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation. Essential Skills Experience with manufacturing processes and equipment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. Familiarity with quality control processes and methodologies. Proficiency in technical problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2-5 years of technician experience in manufacturing or lab environments. Strong hands‑on troubleshooting of electronic or electromechanical products. Proficiency with Windows systems, peripherals, and device interfaces. Working awareness of Python, C#, and JSON (logs, configs, basic scripts). Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and ESD controls. Skills in engineering, process improvement, fixture design, troubleshooting, electronics, 3D printing, prototyping. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal influence and trustworthiness. Work Environment This is an on‑site, production‑floor‑based role. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Syracuse, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
