Enterprise Messaging System Administrator Apply
Position: Enterprise Messaging System Administrator (100% Onsite)
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Candidates from other locations won't be considered. Relocation is not acceptable)

- Experience:
- 4+ years in systems and security administration of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Active Directory
- Experience with Microsoft SCCM and/or Windows server administration
- Experience supporting public safety organizations
- Certifications:
- CJIS certification Level 4 or higher or the ability to obtain and maintain the certification within 10 business days of employment
- Other Requirements:
- Must be a local candidate (registered and currently located in Fort Lauderdale, FL)
- Valid Florida driver's license with no restrictions affecting job performance
- Experience working in and supporting public safety organizations
- Support & Administration:
- Administer all messaging platforms, including Microsoft Exchange in a hybrid environment, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, messaging archivers, and text message capture.
- Perform tasks including architecting, designing, deploying, installing, configuring, modifying, administering, maintaining, monitoring, optimizing, upgrading, updating, patching, virtualizing, securing, protecting, migrating, interfacing, testing, documenting, troubleshooting, and remedying messaging systems.
- Vendor Management:
- Manage vendor relationships for messaging systems, conduct monthly communication meetings, perform quarterly system health checks, ensure systems are up-to-date, and maintain vendor annual maintenance and support.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Author, review, revise, and update technical documentation related to messaging systems, including reviewing contracts, writing technical statements of work, creating policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and guidelines.
- Troubleshooting & Support:
- Provide troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for Level 2 and 3 requests related to messaging systems, ensuring timely and effective problem resolution.
- Provide on-call support for messaging-related issues after normal business hours.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the ITD Project Management Office on messaging system projects and initiatives.
- Mentor and coach other ITD team members.
- Work with the ITD Cybersecurity team to ensure messaging systems meet cybersecurity requirements.
- Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor and report on the progress and benefits of implemented technologies.
- Stay current with the latest threats and vulnerabilities.
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
- Ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, involving some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds).
- Ability to perform tasks involving extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.
