We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Enterprise Systems Engineer to design, develop, and manage enterprise-level systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI, SQL, and JavaScript, with a strong focus on data integration, system optimization, and application development. This role is integral to enhancing our data capabilities and ensuring seamless system operations to support business objectives.

Alphacomm custom designs, manufactures and distributes wireless accessories to over 18,000 points of distribution, primarily in the Prepaid wireless market in North America. Alphacomm leads the wireless industry in the number of carrier brands managed and is the first to market carrier-licensed accessory portfolios for over fifty devices launched annually. In-house brands, Quikcell and BosBos, are leading brands designed and manufactured by Alphacomm for the Prepaid channel.

Responsibilities

1. System Development & Integration
• Design and implement enterprise systems that align with business needs and performance goals.
• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using JavaScript and other relevant technologies.
• Integrate and optimize data pipelines and workflows across platforms.

1. Data Visualization & Analytics
• Develop and manage interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting layers.

1. Database Management
• Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL databases to ensure data availability and reliability.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.
• Ensure database security, backup, and recovery processes are robust and up to date.

1. System Administration
• Monitor and maintain enterprise systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, minimizing downtime.
• Perform regular system upgrades and patches to ensure compliance and security.

1. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
• Partner with IT, data, and business teams to implement and support enterprise solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and training to teams on system capabilities and best practices.
• Document processes, technical specifications, and system configurations for reference.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience:
• 5+ years in a similar role involving enterprise systems, database management, and development.
• Proven experience with Power BI, SQL, and JavaScript.
• Experience in enterprise systems design, implementation, and support.

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development and analytics.
• Strong SQL programming skills (queries, stored procedures, indexing).
• Proficiency in JavaScript for application and system development.
• Experience with ETL tools, APIs, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
