Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  1. Design Research: Assist in conducting user research and gathering insights to inform design decisions. Participate in user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs, behaviors, and preferences.

  2. Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts and solutions. Use design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma to iterate on design ideas and refine user interfaces.

  3. Visual Design: Assist in creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications. Apply design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques to create cohesive and aesthetically pleasing designs.

  4. Usability Testing: Collaborate with senior designers and stakeholders to conduct usability testing sessions and gather feedback on design prototypes. Analyze user feedback and iterate on designs based on usability findings.

  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to translate business requirements into compelling design solutions. Communicate design ideas and concepts effectively through sketches, wireframes, and presentations.

  6. Design Documentation: Assist in documenting design specifications, style guides, and design patterns to ensure consistency and coherence across products and platforms. Organize design assets and maintain design libraries for easy access and reuse.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interaction design, human-computer interaction, or a related field. Relevant coursework or certifications in UX/UI design is a plus.

  2. Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing design projects, including wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and finished designs. The portfolio should demonstrate a strong understanding of design principles, creativity, and attention to detail.

  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is desirable but not required.

  4. Creativity and Problem-Solving Skills: Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to conceptualize innovative design solutions and address user needs and pain points effectively.

  5. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work, with the ability to ensure consistency and alignment with design standards and best practices.

  6. Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas and concepts clearly and effectively. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and receive constructive feedback.
