Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Laboratory Technician will support laboratory operations during the third shift, performing routine and advanced analytical tasks within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate testing, data integrity, and adherence to quality and safety standards. The position plays a critical role in supporting production and maintaining compliance with established procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory testing and analysis in accordance with established procedures and protocols

• Support manufacturing operations by providing timely and accurate test results

• Maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance

• Document test results and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with quality standards

• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines

• Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues within the laboratory environment

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace


Required Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field such as Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline

• Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of laboratory practices, safety standards, and documentation requirements

• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in analytical laboratory testing within a regulated industry

• Familiarity with quality systems and standard operating procedures in a manufacturing setting

• Prior experience working third shift in a production or laboratory environment
