Entry-Level Outside Sales Development Representative Apply
Job Description
Help Seattle Homeowners Get the Electrical Help They Need
There are thousands of people around Seattle living in older homes with unsafe or outdated electrical systems—but they don’t always know who to call. That’s where you come in.
Compliance Electric is hiring an Entry-Level Outside Sales Development Representative to help connect homeowners to our expert services. Your job? Get out into the community, meet people, start conversations, and book estimate appointments for electrical upgrades like panel replacements, EV chargers, surge protection, and full-home rewires.
You don’t need experience in sales or the trades—we’ll train you. But you do need to show up, follow the process, and put in the work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Visit local neighborhoods and homes in person
- Talk with homeowners about their electrical concerns
- Explain who we are and how we can help
- Qualify interest and book estimate appointments
- Follow up on unsold quotes and past customer leads
- Build relationships with realtors, property managers, and service partners
- Log all conversations and appointments in our CRM (Jobber)
- Support the mission of making Seattle homes safer, one visit at a time
What You’ll Need
- Strong people skills and comfort starting conversations face-to-face
- Drive to hit weekly activity and booking goals
- Willingness to walk neighborhoods, knock doors, and follow up with leads
- Tech-friendly (Google Calendar, iPhone apps, Jobber CRM)
- Reliable transportation + WA driver’s license
- Coachable, dependable, and ready to grow
Compensation & Perks
- Base Pay: $20–$25/hr depending on experience
- Commission:
- $50 per estimate booked and completed
- $100–$150 for each sold job
- Expected Earnings: $60K–$85K+/year
- Other Perks:
- Paid training
- Weekly performance bonuses
- Company iPhone + branded gear
- Flexible scheduling after onboarding
- Clear path to additional responsibilities (earned through consistency)
Career Growth That’s Earned, Not Given
This is an entry-level role, but for those who show up consistently, hit goals, and keep learning, there are long-term opportunities here—like moving into inside sales, estimating support, business development, or team leadership as we grow.
We don’t hand out titles—we help you earn them.
