We're looking for an early-career Transportation Engineer to join our Transportation Department in Hartford, CT, and get real experience across a variety of roadway and traffic design projects — not just supporting work, but actual design contributions from the start.

What You'll Do
Conduct traffic analysis and forecasting
Perform traffic impact studies
Contribute to the design of highway and road layouts
Conduct speed studiesHelp implement complete streets designs
Support securing necessary permits and approvals
Assist with corridor modeling
Estimate costs for transportation infrastructure construction projects
Provide transportation support on large, multidisciplinary civil/site projects, including:
Public schools design
Collegiate/secondary education facility design
Rail trail/bike path design
Drainage & culvert design
Bridge replacement projects
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
EIT registration preferred
Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Synchro is a plus
Experience with construction and/or land surveying is a bonus
Exposure to CTDOT standards is helpful but not required

The base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting. This range reflects the company’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
