Kitter". This position is assembling "kits" which are prepared boxes for customers to pack their products as needed.

Basic warehouse experience required.

Forklift is not a requirement but a plus

Schedule7am-3pm (M-F)

Description: Also Assisting in the warehouse

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near work site. Inspects materials for quality/defects. Able to identify material by part number or written description. Manually moves materials onto or from pallets and shelves. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas. Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet. Cleans work area, machines, and equipment. Assembles crates to contain products when required. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers. Adheres to all safety rules and regulations. Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time and repetitively lift up to 50 pounds...

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and move materials within or near work site.
  • Inspect materials for quality and defects.
  • Identify materials by part number or written description.
  • Manually move materials onto or from pallets and shelves.
  • Transport materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
  • Count, weigh, and record the number of units moved or handled on daily production sheet.
  • Clean work area, machines, and equipment.
  • Assemble crates to contain products when required.
  • Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or other containers.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment strongly preferred.
  • Physical ability to perform essential functions of the job.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail; accurate and thorough.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Team player.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse environments.
  • Experience with forklifts and picking.
