Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near work site. Inspects materials for quality/defects. Able to identify material by part number or written description. Manually moves materials onto or from pallets and shelves. Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas. Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet. Cleans work area, machines, and equipment. Assembles crates to contain products when required. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers. Adheres to all safety rules and regulations. Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time and repetitively lift up to 50 pounds...

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Experience operating material handling equipment strongly preferred.
• Physical ability to perform essential functions of the job.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environments.

Work Environment

The work environment is in an unheated and/or un-air-conditioned warehouse, where employees may be exposed to cold, heat, damp, or humid conditions. The role involves working around moving machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and exposure to exhaust fumes and paper dust. The noise level in the work environment is often significant.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
