Join our team today and be a part of Delivering Goods for the Good of All!In this role the ideal candidate will manage the Environmental, Health and Safety function to enable general and functional management to meet Trinity’s Environmental management policy.What you’ll do:Maintain safety and environmental programs for compliance with company and government regulationsMaintain EHS Management Systems including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and RCMSManage a team of individual contributors responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety and environmental programs, processes, and policies to safeguard employees, the general public and to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.Administer Company and Operations safety/environmental initiativesMaintain records of training, qualifications, certifications, etc., as they apply to the safety programProvide training to enable effective operation of the established safety systemsInitiate, document and monitor corrective actions to adhere to safety programsGather information and generate required and/or requested reportsManage the safety committee to accommodate production schedules and requirements.Work with employees to resolve safety issuesKeep the facility management team informed of safety and environmental concerns.Participate in the investigation of accidents and injuriesManage local worker’s compensation issuesWhat you’ll need:Bachelor’s degree in safety or similar fieldMinimum of 5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing facilityMinimum of 3 years of experience managing employeesCertified Safety Professional certification strongly desiredKnowledge of State and Federal regulations relative to safety, health, environment and workers compensation or ability to acquire quicklyKnowledge of ISO 45001, 14001, or equivalent standardsAbility to supervise and interface effectively across all levelsKnowledge of all State and Federal regulations relative to safety, health, environment, and worker’s compensationKnowledge of operations or the ability to acquire it quicklyAbility to maintain accurate and current records to generate complete and timely report
