Full-time ProSidian seeks an Environmental Compliance Specialist for Program Support on an exempt W2 basis. The position is on-site at Fort Bliss, TX, and supports a U.S. Army logistics command that oversees hazardous material sustainment operations. JOB OVERVIEW Provide services and support under the Functional Area “Program Support” as an Environmental Compliance Specialist for the Army Hazardous Material Supply Operations (HSMO) Logistics Support Services. The role includes Environmental Compliance & Regulatory Oversight, hazardous material receipt, storage, tracking, and sustainment logistics to support Army readiness. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Ensure hazardous material and waste compliance; manage SDS documentation. Conduct inspections and support waste turn-in/disposal approvals. Prepare environmental reports and support audits and corrective actions. Receive, inspect, and issue hazardous materials; validate documentation; ensure proper labeling and storage compatibility. Process transactions in GCSS-Army and maintain accountability and safety compliance. Desired Qualifications 5–8 years of environmental compliance experience; 3+ years supporting Army or DoD environmental programs. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field. HAZWOPER certification required. Skills Required Regulatory interpretation (EPA/OSHA), hazardous waste documentation, inspection readiness, and data tracking. Strategic leadership, risk management, decision-making, and communication with senior Army stakeholders.
