Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinates with management to maintain, administer, and enforce company-wide safety policies and procedures
• Ensure company compliance with federal and state safety and environmental regulations
• Provide technical safety and health support to production and office personnel
• Maintain corporate safety and health programs, and assess and recommend areas of improvement
• Serve as the primary contact with all federal and state environmental agencies
• Coordinate and facilitate regulatory inspections
• Track and renew permits and safety training schedules

Position Requirements

• Ability to drive to and from several Southern California company locations
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the workforce and management
• Possess experience in safety practices by working in relevant field or industry
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Associates Degree preferred
• Ability to earn safety certifications and industry-specific fundamentals
• Strong computer skills (MS Office / Outlook)
• Ability to work under pressure and make strong decisions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual a plus, but not necessary
