Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

play a pivotal role in leading the environmental, health, and safety initiatives for multiple facilities across Minnesota, with your primary focus on the Mountain Lake and Clara City locations.

Job Title: Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

Salary: $100k - $130k

Location: Mountain Lake, MN

Hybrid: 50% travel to Mountain Lake

What You'll Do:

  • You'll monitor and assist facilities with compliance to all environmental, health, and safety regulations (federal, state, local) while maintaining company standards.
  • Environmental Management: Develop and implement compliance plans for air and water permits, and manage Wastewater Discharge Permits (WPDES).
  • Lead compliance efforts for Process Safety Management (PSM), working closely with site managers and external consultants to mitigate risks.
  • Foster a culture of safety by overseeing plant health, safety, and loss prevention programs, ensuring that occupational safety standards are upheld.
  • Deliver new employee orientations, monthly EHS training sessions, and lead safety committee meetings, inspiring a proactive safety mindset among your team.
  • Investigate injuries, environmental releases, and serious near misses, collaborating with management to implement corrective actions.
  • Develop strong relationships with external regulators, including fire, police, and environmental agencies, to ensure seamless compliance with regulations.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5-7 years in managing health and safety programs within a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth understanding of OSHA, EPA, and DNR regulations.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to inspire and drive a safety-first mindset across teams.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
