Job Description The Market Research Analyst ( MRA ) will support the Sales VP and work with the Sales Directors to develop and deliver key analytical support initiatives to the sales organization. The MRA will strengthen the sales efforts by identifying business market trends and opportunities for the sales team to target. MRA specific duties: Works with sales senior leadership to: Identify trends and new sales markets for CES; Analyze the commercial impacts and best practices for these markets; & Identify and prioritize new growth opportunities. Performs market analysis and builds business cases. Development and delivery of metrics, analysis and recommendations to support strategic decisions. Proven ability to transition between detailed data and high-level insights. Conducts data analysis and identifies critical business markets, trends, issues and opportunities. Partners with Customer Care Team to identify report anomalies. Engages in basic research from multiple sources. Collaborates cross functionally on a variety of strategic initiatives. Other duties/ad-hoc analyses as assigned. Position is based in Asheboro, NC . Travel as needed Qualifications BA/BS in marketing/business related discipline. 3+ years in waste/environmental services industries. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills are required including Excel & PowerPoint – knowledge of Netsuite & Longview are a plus. Exceptional analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. Capable of exercising sound judgment and able to demonstrate self-confidence. Highly developed organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
