Equine Rehab Assistant Apply
Petaluma Equine & Circle Oak Rehabilitation is looking to hire an Equine Rehab Assistant to work with the horses in our rehabilitation center.
Core duties include taking care of the horses in the rehab centre and doing their therapies: hydrotherapy, handwalks, eurociser, laser, bemer, cryotherapy, core exercises, administering oral meds, grooming, etc.
A minimum of two years of equine handling experience is required. The hours are daytime, rotating schedule Monday-Sunday (set schedule is okay if you want weekend, otherwise rotating to share weekend load) with hours of 8:30am-5pm. Must be able to be walk, squat, lift 25lbs consistently and stand for long periods of time.
Teamwork and communication are essential for this position.
