Schedule: 12.5-hour days, 3x3 weekly shifts

Job Summary:
The Equipment Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating and maintaining cementing and related service equipment in oilfield operations. This role supports field and maintenance crews by preparing equipment for operations, ensuring timely job deliverables, and actively promoting safety and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rig up and rig down cementing and surface equipment at job sites.
  • Operate and maintain cementing equipment according to job requirements and competency level.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, document results and completing required forms.
  • Verify proper valve alignment on bulk systems and surface manifolds.
  • Follow procedures for handling hazardous materials, job site cleanup, and discharge.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and environmental awareness in compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and safety training.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate operations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme weather or remote environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competent in following oral and written instructions.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical calculations relevant to field operations.
  • Ability to pass background checks, physical exams, and drug screening.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, long shifts, irregular hours, and on-call availability.

Work Environment:

  • Field-based, with exposure to extreme weather conditions.
  • Hands-on operation and maintenance of heavy equipment.
  • Collaborative team environment focused on safety, efficiency, and quality service delivery.
