Equipment Operator: $25-$35 an hour
Hours Monday - Friday 8:30am - 6:30pm
As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse of various forms through Reworld’s industrial disposal process.
Position Responsibilities:
· Receive and process inbound materials, through the safe operation of various types of industrial equipment, such as: forklift, bull dozer, skid steer, vacuum truck, roll-off truck, walking floor trailer, dump trailer, pressure washer, material handling equipment, and various hand tools
· Feed Shredders, Fuel Conveyors and Load Trucks with outbound Material
· Safely operate industrial equipment to consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor
· Follow defined industrial and manufacturing good housekeeping practices at all Reworld facilities and within assigned work areas
· Exterior site maintenance and improvement, as needed, which includes: litter collection, snow removal and ice prevention
· Traffic Control for incoming/outgoing traffic
· Assist facility Operations Department with conveyor equipment repairs, shredder hammer changes/rotations.
· Assist during major outages as needed
· Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations
Position Requirements & Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· A minimum of 1 year experience operating industrial equipment
· Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule
