Job Summary

The ERP Systems Analyst supports and continuously improves our ERP and related business systems, with an initial focus on our Acumatica ERP environment. This role is responsible for day-to-day ERP support, reporting, data integrity, and process documentation, while also providing limited Tier-1 IT support as needed.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day support resource for the Acumatica ERP system.
  • Perform ongoing data cleanup, validation, and field normalization to improve data quality.
  • Standardize data entry practices, field usage, and reporting conventions.
  • Support end users with ERP questions, troubleshooting, and training.
  • Assist with ERP configuration changes and system maintenance in coordination with IT.
  • Document ERP workflows, business processes, and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify inefficiencies or gaps in ERP usage and recommend improvements.
  • Partner with Planning, Production, Purchasing, Finance, and other departments to ensure system alignment with business needs.
  • Build and maintain queries, reports, and dashboards to improve MRP accuracy, workflow efficiency, and material timeliness.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to ERP and operational systems.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier-1 IT support, including password resets, access requests, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Help triage IT support requests and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Contribute to IT documentation and internal knowledge base updates.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Experience working with an ERP or enterprise business system (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Ability to write queries and work with relational data (SQL or equivalent).
  • Experience with data cleanup, reporting, and system documentation.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working directly with end users across multiple departments.
