Job Title: Estimator / Project Manager
Location: South Amboy, NJ (On-site)
Seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the planning, budgeting, and delivery of construction projects. The role requires strong experience in estimating, project execution, contract review, and stakeholder coordination. The position involves managing projects from preconstruction through completion while ensuring cost, schedule, and quality targets are met.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates using Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and related platforms.
Develop project budgets, schedules, and cost-control plans to maintain profitability.
Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify risk and opportunity.
Negotiate terms with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Align project scope with financial and timeline expectations.
Manage resources, timelines, and quality throughout project execution.
Track progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
Minimum 6 years of experience with Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and construction estimating software.
At least 6 years of construction management experience.
At least 6 years of hands-on construction estimating experience.
Strong understanding of contracts, scope development, and risk evaluation.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining accuracy.
Construction site exposure preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work on-site in South Amboy, NJ.
