We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Estimator to join our construction team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review of preliminary and final civil construction plans in preparation for bid proposals
• Review appropriate municipal specifications
• Perform quantity take-offs of earthwork, grading, paving, utilities, and site concrete for private and public sector projects
• Obtain and review vendor quotations
• Various office tasks related to construction estimating on an as needed basis.

Requirements

• A motivated self-starter who can take direction and work independently
• Able to read and interpret civil construction plans and documents
• Able to adhere to guidelines and complete project tasks in established time frames
• A detail-oriented team player with strong communications skills
• Familiar with MS Office, AGTEK, Bluebeam and AutoCAD
• Professional experience in earthwork, utilities and roadwork construction is required
• 5 years in Civil Construction estimating highly preferred
• Civil engineering or related construction degree a plus, but not required
• Pay: The salary for this position will be commensurate according to experience.
