This role is responsible for leading estimates from concept through final bid on large, technically demanding water and wastewater treatment facilities.The ideal candidate brings deep technical estimating experience, understands treatment plant construction inside and out, and can confidently price risk, scope, and schedule while collaborating closely with operations and leadership teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for water and wastewater treatment plant projectsLead takeoffs, subcontractor pricing, and bid strategy developmentAnalyze plans, specifications, and alternative delivery methodsDevelop conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid estimatesEvaluate project risk, contingencies, and value-engineering optionsCoordinate with operations, project managers, and engineering teamsReview subcontractor and supplier proposals for scope and accuracyPresent estimates and bid packages to senior leadershipQualificationsMinimum 10+ years of estimating experience in water or wastewater treatment plant constructionProven background estimating complex treatment facilitiesStrong understanding of process equipment, civil, mechanical, and electrical scopesExperience with hard bids, GMPs, and negotiated workHighly analytical with strong attention to detail and cost accuracyConfident communicator able to work with owners, engineers, and executivesSelf-driven, deadline-oriented, and comfortable leading estimates independently
