As we continue to expand, we’re searching for an experienced Event Marketing Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit, a strong work ethic, and a talent for assembling and leading teams to drive quality lead production at shows and events. The ideal candidate will make it their mission to drive brand recognition and lead generation while representing our company with professionalism and expertise.

Event Marketing Manager Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy aligned with marketing and business objectives.
  • Attend trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events to generate new sales leads, always identifying and securing booth spaces that ensure prime location for maximum visibility.
  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including booth design and set up, equipment rentals, and transportation.
  • Recruit, train, and manage event staff, including internal team members and external talent.
  • Create detailed schedules and task lists to ensure all team members are informed and prepared for their roles at each event.
  • Oversee on-site activities, ensuring staff adherence to company standards and providing support as needed.
  • Collect and analyze data from each event, including attendance, engagement levels, and sales leads generated.
  • Provide detailed post-event reports with insights and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners, event organizers, and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in event planning, preferably in the home improvement industry.
  • Experience in lead generation or experiential marketing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Self-starter with the ability to develop others.
