Events Av Manager Apply
We are in search of an enthusiastic Events AV Manager to join our incredible team at HAPPIER People MGMT. As an Events AV Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of our events at our fabulous community locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands on AVL and production support during load in, production and strike of live events, concerts, and nightlife activations
- Conduct pre-event checks and equipment tests to ensure everything is functioning properly
- Field incoming technical support requests from operations teams, and provide both remote and on-site support
- Field incoming A/V/L production requests from Events, Music & Culture, and Operations teams, and input into resource management system
- Coordinate with internal production team and contracted vendors to understand technical requirements and ensure proper setup and operation of sound systems, lighting, video, and other AV equipment
- Mitigate and troubleshoot technical issues that arise during events, ensuring quick and effective resolutions to minimize disruptions
- Participate in a proactive advancing process to facilitate smooth event production
- Maintain the storage, inventory and repair of AVL equipment across the properties including speakers, speaker stands, mics, mic stands, nackline, lighting equipment, projector and projector screens
- Attend all events in their domain requiring AV support, and assist events an operations teams to make sure artists, staff and guests have the best experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in live events, concerts, and nightlife, with a focus on technical production
- Proficiency with entertainment technology, including audio mixing consoles, Networking equipment, lighting consoles, DJ Equipment, PA systems and computer technology.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent organization and communication abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate nightlife and event schedules.
- Passion for producing memorable music and entertainment experiences
- A keen eye for aesthetics and organization

The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $90,000 - $95,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
